This paper is intended to show that the fundamental reason for effectiveness, success, and greatness is not a matter of zeal, enthusiasm and effort but conceptual. It is the interpretation and implementation of revelation knowledge. Dr. Arnold Toynbee in his massive study of history expresses the rise and extinction of 23 civilization was not due to leadership, citizenship, circumstances, but upon the ability or inability to respond to challenges. These challenges are response to change and demand for progress; conservation of historic and foundational traditions.
